THE PROJECT

In a market dominated by global franchises, Korean elements have often remained as mere decorations rather than a core strategy. Burger-Ok was created to bridge this gap directly. By analyzing traditional Korean visual language and aesthetics, I extracted key motifs and translated them into a consistent design language. This was established as a brand design system across all touchpoints including BI, packaging, uniforms, marketing, and spatial design. The result is a brand experience that is authentically Korean yet resonates globally.

글로벌 프랜차이즈가 장악한 시장에서 한국적 요소는 전략이 아닌 장식에 머물러 있었고, 버거옥은 이 간극을 정면으로 돌파하고자 했습니다. 한국의 전통 시각 언어와 조형 미학을 조사해 핵심 모티프를 추출하고 일관된 디자인 언어로 번역해, BI, 패키지, 유니폼, 마케팅, 공간 등 모든 접점에 브랜드 디자인 시스템으로 구축해 한국적이면서도 글로벌하게 통하는 브랜드 경험을 완성했습니다.
